TARU Engineering Inc. is an R&D platform in which several research and development groups, mainly from METU Mechanical Engineering Department, work together.

TARU Engineering provides various services including design, simulation, analysis, software development, test and measurement, consultancy and training. All services are provided by expert researchers accompanied by members of METU faculty.

Some of the project groups in METU that have created university-industry cooperation on various engineering subjects for over 25 years are in close collaboration with TARU Engineering.  

The mission of TARU Engineering Inc. is to present R&D studies done in the university to the industry, to propose solutions for industry in Turkey and to develop new technologies in universal scale.
